Is everything free of charge?

YES! The goal is to provide free resources for the hearing communities to feel more connected and engaged with deaf communities. 

 

Can I join Sign Journey?

YES! We would love to have you as a part of this organization. From content creators, to managing the website, to hosting interviews and deaf events, we would love to have you join! Please contact us using the contact page saying "I want to join!". 

 

Who started this?

Me...but who am I? I'm Kiana, a high school student who is hard of hearing and passionate about using my STEM skills and ASL skills to connect deaf and hearing communities. 

 

Who has access to this?

Everyone and anyone! Feel free to share the website with others.

 

Is there a mobile app version of this?

We are hoping to release a mobile app version. 

 

When did this start?

The website wasn't built until July of 2024, but the idea started back in December of 2023. I've always wanted to contribute to the deaf community, so I started teaching ASL to student across the United States. However, I wanted to expand beyond that and share my knowledge with the whole world. 

 

Where are the social media platforms?

We are working on getting an Instagram page running, and a YouTube with all of the video lessons. We will keep you updated!
